What do you need to know about Rock Climbing?

Our friendly and knowledgable instructors will cover such techniques as tying in, belaying, climbing calls and lowering off before sending you off up the crag to experience the delights of rock climbing.

You'll use easily accessible crags close to Keswick to offer you your first climbing experience.

Coupled with an abseiling session where you will take control of your own ropes during your descent off the rock face, this can be an amazing day out where you will really challenge yourselves and leave with an immense sense of achievement.

Getting there

LOGISTICS

The meeting point is in a small Pay and Display National Trust carpark. Do not pay as you will move to another venue once you've met your instructor.
Please travel in as few cars as possible, there is not a lot of parking available.
There are no toilets available at the carpark.
Your instructor will meet you at the venue.
